Last weekend the IMSA Northeast Grand Prix was held at Lime Rock Park, which is situated in the foothills of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains in Connecticut. The circuit is tree-lined, with many elevation changes, which provide opportunities to find locations with unique angles and lighting conditions. The 65th annual running of the 12 Hours of Sebring and second round of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship was held on March 18. The #10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R Cadillac DPi with Ricky Taylor, Jordan Taylor, and Alexander Lynn took top honors after 12 hours of racing. The 34th annual running of the Historic Festival was held at Lime Rock Park over the Labor Day weekend. This event combines multiple days of vintage car racing with a Concours d’Elegance on the Sunday. The next couple of blogs will be about practice/qualifying and race days. Hope you like the photos.

Round 17 of the GTS class for the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) was held at Laguna Seca in Salinas, California (September 10 to 13). This 11-turn road course is about 2.3 miles in length and is known for the iconic “Corkscrew” turn. The season finale was won by Kris Wilson in the #07 TRG-AMR Aston Martin Vantage GT4, with Jack Baldwin second in the #73 GTSport Racing Porsche Cayman S. The championship went to Michael Cooper from Blackdog Speed Shop, with Andrew Aquilante from Phoenix American Motorsports second, and Jack Baldwin from GTSport Racing third. Can’t wait for next year.
