About

Photography has always been a part of my life. I remember my first experience with a 35mm film camera and the excitement of putting in a roll of film, taking the photos, then waiting for the film to get developed. As the years progressed, I moved onto digital cameras, but other career goals took priority over my photography.

Then a few years ago, my wife and I were watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans on TV. We looked at each other and said “we need to go to Le Mans”. The following year we experienced this endurance race in person. It was this experience that sparked my goal of combining my passions for photography and motorsports. Since then, I have been fortunate to photograph races throughout the USA and abroad, ranging from sports cars, to Indy Car, to F1.

For me, there are few things better than having the opportunity to “capture a speeding race car in a still image”.  Learning how to see the image before you push the shutter button is a continual journey, that I look forward to each time I go to the race track.

In the motorsport off-season I like to keep my “eye-in” by photographing other subjects including animals, landscapes, other sports, and travel.

Thanks for visiting my website and hope you enjoy reading my blog and looking at my photos.
