Photography has always been a part of my life. I remember my first experience with a 35mm film camera and the excitement of putting in a roll of film, taking the photos, then waiting for the film to get developed. As the years progressed, I moved onto digital cameras, but other career goals took priority over my photography.
Then a couple of years ago, my wife and I were watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans on TV. We looked at each other and said “we need to go to Le Mans”. The following year we experienced this endurance race in person. It was this experience that sparked my goal of combining my passions for photography and motorsports. Since then, I have been fortunate to photograph race events throughout the USA and abroad, ranging from sports cars, to Indy Car, to F1.
My photographs have been published by Audi Customer Racing, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indy Car, Motorsport.com, and XPB Images. Clients have included several race car teams.
For me, their are few things better than having the opportunity to “capture a speeding race car in a still image”. Learning how to see the image before you push the shutter button is a continual journey, that I look forward to each time I go to the race track.
Please contact me if you would like motorsport photography coverage. I’m based in Boston, and like to travel. I can be contacted using the Contact page or at the email address below.
