Round 10 of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) GTS class was held on Sunday (June 28). Andrew Aquilante in the #32 Phoenix American Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss302 won the race. Second was Ben Clucas in the #36 Kinetic Motorsports / Kia Racing Kia Optima and third was Jack Baldwin in the #73 GTSport Racing Porsche Cayman S. Hope you like the photos. 2015 – PWC GTS Class Round 9 at Road America (Jun 27)

Round 9 of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) GTS class was held Saturday (June 27) under sunny blue skies. Mark Wilkins won the race in the #38 Kinetic Motorsports/Kia Racing Kia Optima. Jack Baldwin was second in the #73 GTSport Racing Porsche Cayman S. Third went to Ben Clucas in the #36 Kinetic Motorsports / Kia Racing Kia Optima. Hope you like the photos.

2015 – PWC GTS Class Testing and Practice at Road America (Jun 25 and 26)

The Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) GTS class testing and practice were held on Thursday and Friday (June 25 and 26). After Practice 2, Mark Wilkins in the #38 Kinetic Motorsports/Kia Racing Kia Optima topped the charts with a fastest lap of 2:17.831 at 105.729 mph. Second fastest was Jack Baldwin in the #73 GTSport Racing Porsche Cayman S, then Ben Clucas in the #36 Kinetic Motorsports / Kia Racing Kia Optima. Hope you like the photos. 2015 – Sunday PWC GT Class at Road America (Jun 28)

Round 13 of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) GT/GTA/GT Cup class was held Sunday afternoon (June 28). JD Davison  in the #33 Always Evolving Racing Nissan GT-R-GT3 won the race. GTA class was won by Frank Montecalvo in the #66 DragonSpeed Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS GT3 and GT-Cup was won by Colin Thompson in the #11 Kelly-Moss Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Hope you like the photos.

2015 – Saturday PWC GT Class at Road America (Jun 27)

On Saturday morning (June 27) the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) and North America Sportscar held “Caffeine & Octane” at the RealTime Team paddock. This was a great way to meet the drivers while having a cup of coffee. Later that morning, the GT/GTA/GT-Cup classes held their warm-up session for the afternoon race. Round 12 was won by Chris Dyson in the #16 Bentley Team Dyson Racing Bentley Continental GT3. GTA class was won by Frank Montecalvo in the #66 DragonSpeed Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS GT3 and GT-Cup was won by Colin Thompson in the #11 Kelly-Moss Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Hope you like the photos.

2015 – Friday PWC GT Class at Road America (Jun 25 to 28)

Friday was a busy day for the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC), with qualifying in the morning and the make-up GT-GTA race from Detroit in the afternoon. Round 11 was won by Tomas Enge in the #25 Blancpain Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2. Hope you like the photos.

2015 – Thursday PWC GT Class at Road America (Jun 25 to 28)

The Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) GT/GTA Rounds 11, 12, and 13; and GT Cup Rounds 10 and 11 were held at Road America near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The track is about 4.1 miles in length, with 14 turns, has many elevation changes, and long straights. The track is known as “America’s Nurburgring”. It certainly is one of the most picturesque road courses I’ve been too. Arrived at the track on Thursday in time to cover the afternoon testing and practice sessions. Hope you like the photos.

2014 Road America to Lime Rock Park – Part Three of My Motorsport Photography Year

The last part of my 2014 year in motorsports photography will focus on the second half of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) season, as well as Indy Car, and races held at Lime Rock Park. As I reflect back, I think wow, what a great experience and learning opportunity this was. Thanks again to those who gave me the chance and helped me through the year.
