2017 – IndyCar GP at Watkins Glen International (Aug 31 to Sep 1)

This weekend is the season finale at Sonoma which will decide this years IndyCar Champion. Thought it would be a good time to look back at the penultimate race of the season at Watkins Glen International. Going into the IndyCar Grand Prix were eight drivers who had a mathematical chance of winning the championship. Of these drivers, Alexander Rossi in the #98 Andretti Herta Autosport w/Curb-Agajanian, would dominate the weekend with pole position and winning the race. 2016 – Day 2 at the Six Hours of the Glen (Jul 3)

Sunday, July 3rd, was race day for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship at Watkins Glen International (WGI). After 197 laps, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen was won by João Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi in the #5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP. Covered the grid fan walk and race from the “spectators” side of the fence. Hope you like the photos.

2016 – Day 1 at the Six Hours of the Glen (Jul 2)

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I met some friends at Watkins Glen International (WGI) for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. WGI, also known as the mecca of North American racing, is located in the Finger Lakes district in upstate New York. Spent the day covering the WeatherTech Championship practice, paddock, and qualifying; and the Lamborghini Trofeo race from the “spectators” side of the fence. Hope you like the photos.
