Retrospective – 2014 Grand Prix of Sonoma Qualifying (August 23)

The Saturday qualifying session for the Grand Prix of Sonoma was taken by Will Power with a fastest lap of 1 minute and 17.4 seconds. Josef Newgarden was second fastest and Scott Dixon third. Was an exciting qualifying session. Hope you like the photos.

2014 Sonoma (222A9461)For the first part of the qualifying session started at Turn 3A at the top of the race course. This way I could start the shoot at the top of the hill, then work my way down to the pits and front straight for the “placing of the sticker” by the top qualifier.
