As the day progressed the rain from Hurricane Patricia subsided and the USGP at Circuit of the Americas started on a wet track Sunday afternoon (October 25). As the track dried, the race evolved into one of the best of the year. Lewis Hamilton won the race and championship in the #44 Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team F1 W06 Hybrid. This was Hamilton’s third championship which tied him with his countryman Sir Jackie Stewart and the late Ayrton Senna. Being able to experience a championship winning race was an amazing experience. Wow, what a great few days I had at the USGP. Many thanks again to all who made my dream to photograph an F1 race possible. Experiencing an F1 event and seeing what goes on behind the scenes has made me appreciate F1 even more. Wish everybody continued success and be safe.
