Rounds 7 and 8 of the Indy Car series were held on Belle Isle in Detroit (the motor city), Michigan. The street circuit is about 2.35 miles in length and has 14 turns. Arrived at the track on Thursday afternoon, and walked the paddock to watch the teams prepare their cars for practice on Friday. Hope you like the photos.

As I entered the paddock, Tony Kanaan from Chip Ganassi Racing, sped by on a scooter.
It also happened that Taylor Swift was in town for a concert, and Tony Kanaan’s #10 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet had livery on his car to promote this event.
Was fun watching the crew working on the #9 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet. Also, got to see Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti.
The #28 Andretti Autosport Honda and scooter.
Was great to see Sebastien Bourdais thanking his crew for working on his #11 KVSH Racing Chevrolet.
