2015 – PWC Practice at the Grand Prix of Long Beach (Apr 17 to 19)

The GT/GTA/GT Cup class cars of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) headed west for the Grand Prix of Long Beach. Practice was held mid-morning on Friday under sunny blues skies. Peter Cunningham in the #42 RealTime Racing Acura TLX-GT was fastest in the GT class. Frank Montecalvo in the #66 DragonSpeed  Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS GT3 was the fastest in GTA, and fastest in GT Cup class was Colin Thompson in the #11 Kelly-Moss Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. 2015 – Indy Car Race at the Grand Prix of Long Beach (Apr 17 to 19)

Race three of the Verizon Indy Car series started around 1.30 pm on the streets of Long Beach under beautiful blue skies. After 80 laps, Scott Dixon in the #9 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet won the race. Helio Castroneves in the #3 Team Penske Chevrolet was second and  Juan Pablo Montoya in the #2 Team Penske Chevrolet was third.
