After photographing some of the free practice session at the “S” Ford Curves from Stand 23, took a ride on the Ferris Wheel to get some elevated shots of the track, then took the long walk over to the Porsche Curves. Hope you like the photos.

Porsche Curves

To get to the Porsche Curves, exited the track at Maison Blanche, then walked along the road next to the track for about 30 to 45 minutes. Its a long walk, but worth the effort. The hardest part about photographing at the Porsche Curves is the high catch fencing and distance the spectator mound is from the track. To get a good vantage point, you need to walk towards the right-hand side of the viewing mound to get a clear shot over the fence, and use at least a 300mm lens or longer if you want close-up shots of the cars (Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II, 98mm, f/5.6, 1/1000, ISO 100)
