A couple of weeks ago I visited the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, which is located in Brookline, Massachusetts. This museum is home of “America’s Oldest Car Collection” and has on display a beautiful metallic silver Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. This blog is about one of the most desired supercars in the world. The last blog was about covering Extinct Car Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in black and white. This time, Kodak Ektar 100 was used to shoot the event in color so you can see the beautiful paintwork on these cars that have passed. Hope you like the photos.
Extinct Car Day was the last lawn event for the year at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. This event was held on October 30 and brought together cars from manufacturers that have past. Cars from several companies including Checker, Delahaye, DeLorean, Hudson, LaSalle, and Packard were on display. Decided to use TRI-X 400, the classic black and white film from Kodak, to cover this event. Hope you like the photos.
The Larz Anderson Auto Museum is home to America’s oldest car collection and is located in Brookline, Massachusetts. For over 85 years the museum has hosted weekend lawn events which showcase cars from around the world. Twenty-three lawn events were held this year and I was fortunate to attend the last two events. First up is Japanese Car and Motorcycle Day which was held on October 16 and I used Kodak Porta 400 film to cover this event. Hope you like the photos. Over the last couple of years I’ve been keeping an eye on the evolution of the Fujifilm X100 series of cameras, since I really like the retro and range-finder-like design. The latest iteration is the X100T, and most of the things that made me hesitate in buying an X100 series camera have been fixed. So about a month ago I took the plunge and brought an X100T for everyday and personal use. This photo story is about my thoughts on the X100T and a walk-around of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum with this camera. Hope you like the photos.
