Was very excited to attend day 2 of GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends at Lime Rock Park, with more track and drifting action. Hope you like the photos.

Decided to start the day by walking through the Infield camping area, then over to the Uphill.
Arrived in time for the Track Battle Heat 4 session, and captured the cars speeding down Paul Newman Straight.

For the second GLTC/GLGT race, walked to the inside of the Uphill, so could capture the cars exiting Paul Newman Straight.

Then tracked the cars climbing up and over the Uphill.
Walked along the Back Straight, for front shots of the cars going over the Uphill.

Continued walking along the inside of the Back Straight until I reached the entry into West Bend, which was a good location to pan the cars as they passed by.

Continued along the inside of West Bend, and past the recently built car condo garages.

For the third race of the Rush series, went to the outside of West Bend, for photos of the cars entering and going though this corner.

Next up was the Full Course Drift Jam 4, and for this session went to the apex of the outside of West Bend, for panning shots of the cars. Used different lens focal lengths, for different perspectives, despite being at the same location.

By now it was around 12.00 noon, so walked down the hill to the Midway, and had a quick look around at the JDM cars on display.

Then continued down the Inner Spectator area to the A Paddock, and had a look at some of the FCP Euro and Falken Tire cars, then grabbed some lunch and found a place to rest.

After lunch, headed back to The Esses for the GLTC/GLGT Race 4, and really enjoyed the variety of cars in this session.

Stayed in this location for the Full Track Drifting Jam session 5. Once again, really enjoyed capturing the cars speeding by, with tire smoke streaming behind them. Thanks again for spending your time reading this photo blog. Looking forward to GRIDLIFE returning to Lime Rock Park next year, and maybe I’ll try to see this series at another race track.
